These terms apply to inquiries and bookings for holiday accommodation at Villa Casa Marina.
1. ForumLingua’s role and scope
ForumLingua provides information about Villa Casa Marina, receives inquiries and connects guests with the owner. ForumLingua is not the owner, landlord or operator of the accommodation. These terms cover accommodation mediation; language courses and teaching services are not part of this offer.
2. Inquiry, offer and contract
A website inquiry is non-binding and is forwarded by ForumLingua to the owner. The accommodation contract is concluded solely between the guest and the owner identified in the offer or booking confirmation. The owner’s written confirmation, including accommodation, dates, occupancy, price, payment terms, additional costs and incorporated conditions, is decisive.
3. Prices, payment and additional costs
The website shows the prices and additional costs currently communicated to us. The owner’s booking confirmation is binding. Payments must be made only to the recipient and by the deadlines stated there. Internet and parking are included under the current list; final cleaning, utilities and selected extras are charged separately.
4. Arrival and use
Arrival is normally on Sunday and departure on Saturday unless agreed otherwise in writing. Only the persons named in the booking may use the accommodation. It must be left tidy and the kitchen broom-clean. Damage must be reported without delay.
5. Withdrawal and cancellation
There is generally no statutory cancellation right for accommodation booked for a specific date or period under section 312g(2)(9) BGB. Cancellation should be made in writing.
The current booking basis provides for charges of 25% up to 30 days before arrival, 30% up to 22 days, 40% up to 14 days, 50% up to 7 days, 70% within the final 7 days and 90% for a no-show without notice. You may prove that no loss, or a substantially lower loss, occurred.
6. Replacement guest and unused services
Cancellation charges do not apply where a suitable replacement guest takes over the same stay in time and there are no objective reasons against it. Voluntarily unused services are not refundable except to the extent costs were saved or the service was resold.
7. Responsibility and liability
The owner, as contracting party, is responsible for providing the accommodation in the agreed condition. ForumLingua is responsible under statutory law for carefully handling and forwarding the inquiry, but not for the owner’s performance of the accommodation contract. Liability for intent, gross negligence, death, personal injury and other mandatory liability remains unaffected.
8. Privacy, dispute resolution and applicable law
Personal data is processed under our privacy notice. ForumLingua does not participate in consumer arbitration. German law applies to the mediation without restricting mandatory consumer rights. The owner’s terms and the law applicable to them govern the accommodation contract.
